Rancho Mirage, CA (Sports Network) - Brittany Lincicome didn’t need much prompting. “That absolutely was the best shot of my life,” she said. Lincicome eagled the par-five 18th hole at the Kraft Nabisco Championship on Sunday following a spectacular approach shot to three feet, stunning Cristie Kerr and Kristy McPherson to win her first career major.

Third-year LPGA Tour member Kristy McPherson carded a 2-under-par 70 in the third round to take the lead at the Kraft Nabisco Championship. McPherson's three-day total of 8-under-par 208 (68-70-70) is one stroke better than fellow American and 11-time Tour winner Cristie Kerr (71-68-70=209, -7)
